Along with searching scholarship information online, students are encouraged to check with guidance to see if there are any new scholarships that may be available to them.
The following is a list of scholarships and their requirements (students are advised to check with scholarship website to obtain full information regarding the application process):

Train for Your Next Level Job
The Workforce Ready Grant is designed to remove financial barriers that may prevent Hoosiers from getting the training they need for a job in one of Indiana’s 5 high-demand fields. The grant pays for all tuition and regularly assessed fees for qualifying high-value certificates. It can be used at any eligible training provider and covers all courses required to satisfy the qualifying program. The grant is available for up to two (2) years. For more information visit
Vincennes University CTE/early college housing scholarship
Vincennes University is pleased to announce a new and exciting scholarship opportunity for the graduates of 2019 --the vu early college housing scholarship. This scholarship focuses on early college and CTE students and awards them with assistance toward room and board. All CTE early college and CTE site students are encouraged to apply and may save up to $9,692 annually!
The student needs to apply for regular admission to Vincennes university, be accepted, and sign up for housing with the 14 meal plan in order to receive the renewable* scholarship. Award will be based on early college or CTE student status, cumulative g.P.A., and early college/CTE credits earned. The scholarships will range between an amount equal to ½ room & board up to full room & board.

Nancy Jaynes Memorial Scholarship Award
Have a parent battling breast cancer or has lost a parent to breast cancer.
Be a high school senior, reside within and attend high school (or be home-schooled) in Indiana. (If you do not reside in Indiana, your application will not be considered.)
Plan to pursue a degree, either full-time or part-time, in any accredited post-secondary institution in Indiana.
Have a cumulative high school GPA of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale.
Be a U.S. citizen, or documented permanent resident of the U.S. Race, color, creed or sex will not be factors in choosing the Award winner(s).
Recipients will be asked to provide proof of acceptance to a college or university before receiving payment of the Award.

James W. and Betty Dye Foundation, INC
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must have a minimum composite SAT score of 1650 or ACT of 24
Must have a minimum GPA of 3.25 (out of 4)
Must be admitted unconditionally as a full-time undergraduate student to one of the following universities: Indiana University Bloomington, Indiana University Northwest, Purdue University West Lafayette, Purdue University Calumet, Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI), Ball State University Muncie

Construction Advancement Foundation
Must be residents of Lake, Porter, La Porte, Newton, Jasper, or Starke Counties in Indiana
Must be pursuing a career in construction or related field
3.0 GPA or greater
Pass a annual hair follicle drug test
