RF Crest

Dear RFCSC Families,

Even with safety steps in place, some students/families who are considered vulnerable due to a medical condition may need to continue distance learning or other accommodations. Talk with your healthcare provider to determine if your child can safely attend a regular school schedule and then communicate with the school nurse.

If you need action plan paperwork for asthma, diabetes, seizures or a severe allergy, you may access it on the Health Services page on the RFCSC website. It is important to note that the use of nebulizers at school is not recommended at this time and should be replaced with alternative methods such as an inhaler with a spacer and mask. Please consult your asthma healthcare provider.

Lastly, it is important as students return to school that they are up to date on their immunizations. Please see the Health Services page on the school website for the immunization requirements for the upcoming school year.

Please contact Paula Thompson, RN at pthompson@rfcsc.k12.in.us for any questions or concerns.

Sincerely,

Paula Thompson, RN
