River Forest Students and Families,

I hope this message finds you healthy, and I wish you all the best of luck as you are navigating this difficult time and trying to plan for the upcoming school year.    It has been a challenge for us to adjust to all of this, too.  The library is currently offering curbside pick-up for holds, and we will soon be open for limited browsing and computer use appointments.

The  Lake Station Library is still having a Summer Reading program this year. The program is for all ages, and the  Lake Station Library is not requiring that folks keep track of what they read. Everyone who signs up and agrees to read will be entered in a raffle for the grand prize of their choice. That's it!  There are some ideas to engage readers--they can post a picture with the book they are reading, or write a review, etc. but there is nothing required.   The  Lake Station Library is also offering some online programs for the  kids.   https://www.lcplin.org/summer-reading

Kind regards,
Julie Bradford, Lake Station Library
