The entire River Forest Community is saddened by the news that one of our students, Rodrigo Montes, has passed. Out of respect for the family, we are not sharing additional details at this time. We ask that you honor their privacy during this difficult time.
Where this brings a certain level of closure for his family - which includes the River Forest family - we will have Counselors and support staff available on Monday upon the students return from Spring Break for any student who may need support. Parents may contact their child’s school if s/he is in need of additional support.
During this difficult time, we also ask that you remind students to avoid spreading rumors or unverified information, particularly on social media.
