Dear Stakeholders of River Forest High School and River Forest Middle School:
The River Forest Community School District will be opening virtually for the 2020-2021 school year. The River Forest School Board has committed to each student having a Chromebook issued by its school for e- learning.
Chromebook distribution will be on August 12th, 13th, and 14th. River Forest High School students should pick their Chromebook up at the main entrance with the Ingot. River Forest Middle School students should pick their Chromebook up at the Middle School entrance by the river. Parents need to be present to sign appropriate paperwork. Pick-up times will be 9:00 am-3:00 pm.
Students who are already in possession of a school issued Chromebook will keep the Chromebook already issued to them. If for some reason these times are not convenient, please feel free to reach out to our main office so accommodations can be made for your schedule/situation. While this year will present challenges, we believe our virtual learning model, which will have teachers being live every day with students being responsible for daily and period attendance represents the best possible model a school can put forth.
