School bus stopping rules: On a two-lane road, vehicles traveling in both directions must stop for a stopped school bus. On a multi-lane road without a physical divider, vehicles traveling in both directions must also stop. On a divided highway with an unpaved median or physical barrier, vehicles traveling behind the bus must stop, while vehicles traveling in the opposite direction may proceed with caution.
