March 1st - 5th is Dr. Seuss Week and we have some Spirit Days planned (see the image of the flyer going home). This is also a week to encourage reading, so take time to read a book, even one you have read before, because good readers reread good books! We hope you all participate in the Spirit Days whether you are in-person or virtual!

Parents and/or Guardians: This is a video from our principal at Meister about the NWEA Winter test. It is about 10 minutes and will help you understand why we take this test, how we are planning to administer it this year since some are in-person and others are virtual, how the test actually works, how it helps us know your child's strengths and areas of growth, and what the testing environment should be like whether students take it at school or at home. Friday, Feb 5th is an e-Learning day due to the weather.  Meister Vikings should be online at 9am and complete the work teachers have posted on their Google Classroom pages.  We emailed a helpful reminder page to the parent or guardians listen in Harmony and posted a link to it on our Facebook page and school website as well.  Be sure you go to your Google Classroom and click on the attendance link so we know you were present, but more than just clicking that link, you must complete your work so your teacher knows you really were present today.  Let's show we can practice the Lifelong Guideline of Trustworthiness and the Life Skills of responsibility, integrity, and our current Life Skill, organization! The water main has been repaired and Meister will be back in session tomorrow for Late Start Wednesday. Remember that on Wednesdays, the doors ope at 9:00am for drop offs at Door F in the back parking lot. This is 1 hour later than normal. Busses usually run about 40-45 min later on Wednesday mornings because of late start, but also remember that we only have 2 bus drivers for this week, so we are doubling in the mornings and afternoons as follows: In the morning, Bus 11 will be picking up Bus 12 first then go back for the Bus 11 route, so Bus 11 kids may be picked up later than usual. In the afternoon, Bus 11 will be picked up and delivered home on time and Bus 12 will run later coming home. In the morning Bus 6 will be picking up Bus 6 first then go back for the Bus 14 route, so Bus 14 will be picked up later than usual. In the afternoon, Bus 6 will be picked up and delivered home on time and Bus 14 will run later coming home. See you tomorrow Vikings!
