There will be a cereal and milk distribution for Lake Station Residents this Thursday, March 4th, at Riverview Park. It will begin at 3:00pm and they have 800 cereal boxes and milk available. There are 2 attachments in English and Spanish below with more details.
There is no school on Tuesday, March 9, 2021.

Attention Juniors and Seniors who are re-testing ISTEP:
We will test on Friday, 2/19 and Monday, 2/22 to make up for the past two weather cancellations.
Please make sure to arrive at school promptly by 7:50 each day.
Due to difficulty in clearing snow from streets and bus stops and continued treacherous travel conditions, River Forest Schools will continue to be on eLearning for tomorrow, February 17th. Students do not report to school on e-Learning Days and will be able to contact their teachers to log on beginning at 9 am.

Due to the inclement weather, the executive session and School Board meeting set for tonight have been changed to Thursday, February 18th 2021. The executive session will be held from 5:30pm -7:00 pm and the school board meeting will be held at 7:00 pm. in the RFHS Auditorium in the round. In the event of inclement weather on that night, both meetings will be held virtually.

Remember that you will not have live lessons, but rather assignments posted on your teacher’s google classrooms. All assignments will be posted by 9am. Wednesday’s meal distribution will be canceled because of weather
conditions. We are tentatively planning on distributing these meals on Friday, February 19th. We will keep you updated on any changes. Thank you for your continued support.

Due to the winter weather advisory issued to our area, school has been

Due to school being cancelled for January 26th, the PSAT and WIDA
tests will be rescheduled at a later date.

Remember: Tuesday begins the start of the third quarter, second semester. Wednesday is a delayed start, but a B day schedule. Class times have been posted on all teacher google classrooms.
