Welcome back RFHS students! We hope that you are well rested and prepared to finish out the semester strong. Remember that this week we remain virtual, so log in to your classes just as you did before break!
Welcome Back Meister Vikings and Happy New Year!
School resumes virtually this week from Jan 4th - 8th, from 9:00am to 2:30pm daily.
Students are in the same virtual classes as before break, so log in to your regular Google Classroom today.
We will let you know this week if we are able to reopen for in-person next Monday, Jan 11th.
Breakfast and lunch pick-up will return to each building this Wednesday from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. This is FREE! Just pull into the parking lot next to the building and our awesome cafeteria ladies will take care of you.
We had a great day on our final day before Christmas Break! Santa came by Meister and even rode in our Holiday Parade! We even had a principal with pointy ears today! It was great to see many of you during the Parade! We miss those smiling faces! We will se you back online Jan 4th for 1 week then we will plan to open for in-person classes the following Monday on Jan 11th based on the survey choices. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

River Forest freshman Geddy Trezak has been nominated for Region Artist of the Year (under age 21 division). The awards will be announced in March and the fan voting portion of the process is currently underway.

Congrats to RFHS senior Mackenzie on winning 1st place in grades 9-12 for the SAFE (Supporting Addiction Free Environments) for Lake County Poster Contest! Another Ingot win!
Congratulations to senior Christian Duh on being awarded the prestigious Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship! This scholarship guarantees Christian a practically free ride to any post-secondary institution in the state of Indiana. Christian is a multi-sport athlete, a member of the National Honor Society, Academic Decathlon, and is on the Governor's Cabinet for Indiana Youth and Government. He is proof that hard work really pays off!

12-9-20 The MS/HS RF Band Concert is from 5pm -720pm in the HS Gymnasium. All tickets are Pre Sale for $2 in the HS Main Office from 8am-3pm.

12-14-20 The MS/HS Choir Concert is at 7pm on 12-14-20. All tickets are Pre Sale for $2 in the HS Main Office from 8am - 3pm Monday - Friday.

Despite all the challenges that a virtual competition brings, the RFMS Lego Robotics Team, led by Mr. Mathews and Mr. Bradtke, advanced to the State Competition with their performance today! Congratulations team! Go RF!

In response to the Lake County Board of Health placing Lake County in the Red category for Covid -19, we are now required to do the following for all K-12 activities:
Only participants, support personnel, and parents/guardians will be allowed at all events and games.
All tickets will be sold Pre-Sale in the RFMS/RFHS Main Office for upcoming games from 8am-3pm.
No siblings or non-participating students will be allowed at games at this time.
No tickets will be sold at the event or game.
